Strongest attributes

My roles as relationship facilitator and a conflict resolver are two of my strongest attributes. Whether it is connecting a client with local resources for their LGBTQ+ child or referring a client to great service providers, I get a large amount of satisfaction when I can enrich their lives. Through connections I have built over the last 10 years in Charlotte, I have found solutions to complex issues in real estate transactions. In our fast growing and dynamic markets, I bring with me these skills to the executive level.

Candidates’s definition of leadership

Leadership is holding space for voices to be acknowledged. Leaders recognize that the greatest honor is to work on behalf of others to uplift, motivate, and highlight their colleagues and members of this industry.

Candidate’s vision

My vision for Canopy is to bring a multilevel approach to highlight the organization’s work for its members and local communities through targeted programming. I have personally experienced the opportunities that are provided to our members to advance their profession through education and involvement. The passion and impact that Canopy has made in our local communities is evident through our outreach efforts and giving back.

A Few Words from Eric ...

As President Elect, I want to encourage the positive growth I have seen within our organization where we value our communities that we serve and the education and resources offered to our members.

I have found inspiration through Canopy’s extensive fair and affordable housing initiatives over the years. I am dedicated to do my part to create and provide opportunities for a future that has fair housing for all.

I would like to continue to celebrate and bring awareness to the diversity of our vibrant members and the communities that we advocate for, so please vote for me to represent all of you.
