Diversity in Action

Learn, stay informed, get involved, and engage in powerful ways with our diverse community!

Disability Pride Month, celebrated each July, recognizes the history, achievements, and contributions of people with disabilities while promoting inclusion, accessibility, and equal opportunity. The observance commemorates the signing of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) on July 26, 1990. Disability Pride Month encourages us to celebrate the diversity of the disability community, challenge stereotypes, and recognize that disability is a natural part of the human experience. It is an opportunity to learn, listen, and work together to create communities where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.
