Positions, committee service and other activities
I am currently a full-time, actively engaged Realtor® with over 20 years of experience serving clients primarily in North and South Carolina, and periodically back home in Connecticut. My primary focus is on residential real estate, where I specialize in working with first-time home buyers and military veterans. My goal with that is to provide comprehensive support throughout the home buying process with particular attention to educating clients on financing options such as VA loans and first-time home buyer programs. In addition to assisting buyers and sellers, I stay actively involved in the real estate community through continuing education, professional development, participation in industry events and local board committees. I do not work outside of the profession. Real Estate is my sole, and full-time career. My continuing dedication to this field is rooted in continuing to help individuals and families achieve their goal of homeownership.

Affiliation with other associations, professional organizations, civic or community activities and accomplishments
Yes, I currently serve as the longest-serving Guardian ad Litem (GAL) in Union County (just achieved 12 years). In this role, I advocate for the best interests of children involved in the court system. My experience and longevity in the program have led to additional leadership responsibilities, including assisting with recruitment events when necessary, and assisting in training sessions of new GALs. This has allowed me to mentor others and play an important role in sustaining and strengthening the program's impact in our community.
Strongest attributes
I believe my strongest attributes are my deep-rooted commitment to service, education, and strategic growth. I have built a successful business by prioritizing advocacy and mentorship, —while always staying grounded in compassion and purpose. I take pride in educating my clients on every aspect of the real estate process as well as mentoring fellow agents on the realities and of the real estate industry. Being both giving and approachable, I feel that I bring a unique blend of frontline experience, and heartfelt leadership—especially when serving the underserved communities of veterans and first-time buyers. My ability to bridge traditional real estate values with modern solutions makes me a forward-thinking and service-driven candidate.
Candidate’s definition of leadership
Leadership to me is not about titles or positions. It is about showing up for other people consistently, and with intention. Being available and willing to guide, listen, support and take action when it matters the most. True leadership means leading by example, working to be the person that people count on and most importantly, helping people grow. Ultimately, it’s about using the voice that you have to work to uplift others.
Candidate’s vision
If I’m privileged to be elected to the Canopy MLS Board of Directors, my vision is to serve as a voice for the future of our MLS. As technology and the real estate landscape continue to evolve rapidly, I want to ensure that all members—not just the tech-savvy—understand and fully benefit from the powerful tools, resources, and data that Canopy MLS offers. My goal is to make sure our MLS remains not only relevant but essential to every agent’s success. I’m committed to keeping members informed, supported, and confident in the value of what we have at our fingertips.
