Positions, committee service and other activities

I am currently a full-time, actively engaged Realtor® with over 20 years of experience serving clients primarily in North and South Carolina, and periodically back home in Connecticut. My primary focus is on residential real estate, where I specialize in working with first-time home buyers, move up buyers and military veterans. My goal is always to provide comprehensive support throughout the home-buying process with particular attention to educating clients on financing options such as VA loans and first-time home-buyer programs. In addition to assisting buyers and sellers, I stay actively involved in the real estate community through continuing education, professional development, participation in industry events and local board committees. I do not work outside of the profession.  Real Estate is my sole and full-time career. My continuing dedication to this field is rooted in continuing to help individuals and families achieve their goal of homeownership.

Affiliation with other associations, professional organizations, civic or community activities and accomplishments

Yes, I currently serve as the longest-serving Guardian ad Litem (GAL) in Union County (just achieved 13 years). In this role, I advocate for the best interests of children involved in the court system. My experience and longevity in the program have led to additional leadership responsibilities, including assisting with recruitment events when necessary, and assisting in training sessions of new GALs. This has allowed me to mentor others and play an important role in sustaining and strengthening the program's impact in our community.

Strongest attributes

My strongest attributes are a deep commitment to service and education - qualities I believe are essential to serving as your Treasurer. I've built my business by prioritizing advocacy and mentorship, always staying grounded in compassion and purpose. I take pride in walking clients through every step of the real estate process, and in mentoring fellow agents on the day-to-day realities of this industry. That same instinct — to educate, to clarify, to make sure people understand what's really happening — is exactly what I'll bring to how our MLS's resources are managed and communicated to members. Approachable and genuinely giving, I bring a unique blend of frontline experience and heartfelt leadership, especially in serving underserved communities like veterans and first-time buyers. My ability to bridge traditional real estate values with modern, tech-forward solutions makes me a forward-thinking, service-driven candidate for Treasurer — one who will always remember that our resources belong to the membership

Candidate’s definition of leadership

To me, leadership isn't about titles or positions. It's about showing up for people consistently and with intention — being available and willing to guide, listen, support, and take action when it matters most. True leadership means leading by example, working to become someone people can count on, and, most importantly, helping others grow. Ultimately, it's about using the voice you have to lift others up.

Candidate’s vision

If elected Canopy MLS Treasurer, my vision is to be a voice for where our MLS is headed next. Technology and the real estate landscape are evolving fast, and I want every member to understand and fully benefit from the tools, resources, and data Canopy MLS puts at our fingertips. My goal is simple: keep our MLS not just relevant, but essential to every agent's success. That means keeping members informed, supported, and confident in the value of what they already have access to.
