I have served as the Chair of the Young Professionals Network Committee and was a member of the 2023 Leadership Academy Class.
I am currently a member of the Realtors® Care Day Core Committee and have served for the past 3 years. My primary role has been to connect with site captains and project managers and secure their commitment to the project as well as to serve as an area captain.
I also serve on the YPN Committee, Housing Foundation Committee and the Leadership Academy Selection Committee. In the past I have participated in Realtors® Care Day 2024 & 2025, Project Reach 2023 & 2024, Housing Foundation Grant Awards Celebration 2023 & 2024, Innovation Awards Presentation, Leadership Academy Cocktail Party 2024 & 2025, Strides for Shelter 2023 & 2024.

In my former position as a public-school teacher, I served in various leadership capacities including: grade level chair, professional learning community chair and as a small team leader for a team of 6 teachers. Additionally, I served as a Co-Director of Bulldogs Matter, an afterschool program facilitated at the school I worked by Crossroads Corporation.
Strongest attributes
My strongest attributes are not only my ability to communicate, but also my ability to listen. I can clearly and effectively communicate with others, while also being able to hear people where they are. I’m a hard worker and dedicated to seeing tasks through to completion. I’m also not afraid to ask for help when I don’t know the answer. I know I’m not always the smartest person in the room, but I have no problem figuring out who is and seeking their guidance when necessary.

Leadership is an opportunity to guide others by example. Leadership isn’t about being the person in charge, but about using your unique skills to serve others.
Candidate’s vision
My vision for the Canopy Realtor® Association and our industry as a whole is to continue to strive to show our value as trusted advisors and community advocates. Though the collaboration, innovation and conversations with Realtors®, community members and government officials continue the work to achieve housing solutions and to meet housing needs of our rapidly growing community.

In my 5 years as an agent, I have served at Canopy in various capacities forming wonderful friendships, giving back to our community and fostering a love for our Realtor® community.
