Strongest attributes

Analyzing situations and people without becoming emotionally involved. I can be an advocate for either side of many issues and help discover more solutions. I am good with business development, financial matters, coaching others, and helping others discovering what they really want from their career.

Candidate’s definition of leadership

The ability to gather people to a cause and move them to a common goal. It is best when practiced as a servant leader rather than for self gain or exposure. When combined with the ability to step back and be a follower when others have better ideas and strengths in a situation, you become a true servant leader.

Candidate’s vision

My vision would be for the continued growth of Canopy in both its size and impact in our industry. We are experiencing dramatic shifts in our industry in how we are perceived, how we do business, and how we are regulated. These outside forces require us to be vision and value communicators in order for us to thrive in the future. We must also be calm thinkers of both how we historically operate and how we need to change in order for our industry to continue to grow the dream of home ownership.
