"Welcome to the Canopy REALTOR^® Association Global Committee’s digital home.

I’m Sylvia S. Gause, CIPS, and it is my honor and privilege to serve as Chair of this collaborative and forward-thinking committee.

At its core, our mission is to generate business opportunities for our members with the ultimate goal of turning connections into relationships and relationships into revenue.  Whether you are assisting international clients with relocation, supporting investors in cross-border transactions, or exploring way to expand your global reach, you are in the right place.

As a committee, we are dedicated to cultivating meaningful relationships with local and international partners, advancing global education opportunities such as the Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS) designation, and elevating the global real estate conversation within our REALTOR® community. Canopy members bring diverse experience and perspectives, and we look forward to sharing those insights through engaging events, educational offerings and collaborative initiatives.

Canopy Global Committee

The Canopy Global Committee enables and supports Realtor^® members who do business, or aspire to do business, in the global real estate market.  All Canopy members are welcome to join the Global Committee.  Members with experience in international real estate transactions (residential and/or commercial) and/or the Certified International Property Specialist designation are encouraged to participate.

Canopy’s Global Priorities:  Generating Business Opportunities for our Members with the Ultimate Goal of Turning Connections into Relationships and Relationships into Revenue

• Generate business opportunities for Canopy Realtor^® Association members and support members who do business in the global real estate market.
• Develop programs and initiatives that increase Canopy Realtor^® Association members’ awareness of global real estate opportunities – both inbound and outbound transactions.
• Fosters relationships with local, state, national and international organizations to provide a professional network that supports the international real estate marketplace.
• Gather information and resources for Canopy members.
• Plan networking events and education/training programs.
• Establish strategic alliances and participate in community engagement opportunities.
• Develop marketing strategies utilizing various communication channels to reach Canopy Realtors^® and external groups.
